2/Set up your truck and/or trailer with your car in the HAC part of the paddock

Friday, August 31
1/Technical inspection/pre-scrutineering in the paddock area between 10.00 and 13.00
2/Drivers briefing 11.30 in the Press Conference Room
3/Qualifying 16.10 Historic American Cup 30 minutes

Saturday, September 1
1/Start Procedure Historic American Cup 16.45, followed by the first 25 minutes race
2/Prize giving 19.30 in the HAC hospitality unit, followed by diner

Sunday, September 2
1/Start Procedure Historic American Cup 15.30, followed by the second 25 minutes race
2/Prize giving 17.00 in the HAC hospitality unit.

TICKETS

Are to be collected from the Welcome Centre
1 Parking P2 per competitor, 3 passes (paddock, pitlane and track card) and 3 SkyNet wristbands.

GENERAL

1/soft drinks, coffee, tea, beer, and wine are free on both Saturday and Sunday, please show your SkyNet wristband before entering the HAC hospitality unit (Catering On Wheels).

General
Drivers, mechanics and supporters of the Historic American Cup. The Dutch Champ Car Grand Prix weekend at the challenging TT circuit of Assen is only a month away. We are looking forward to a unique weekend with spectacular races and good fun. To keep you informed we hereby present to you our first newsletter.
The organizing team is working hard to prepare everything and to be able to welcome you when you arrive at the famous Dutch TT circuit of Assen.

Categories
The Historic American Cup categories when it comes to prizes are: the overall winner, GT’s, Touring cars and non-American cars with USA engines. The prize giving ceremony shall be after the race in our hospitality unit.
Prize giving of 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall shall be on the official rostrum in front of the grandstands.

Schedule
For the updated time schedule on the Dutch Champ Car Grand Prix weekend and the various race categories in Assen, please check our website www.historicamericancup.com .
Every race day a bulletin board is placed outside the hospitality unit with all the necessary details.

Technical regulations
All cars racing the Historic American Cup must comply with FIA-regulations Annex K. 

Code-Sportive
The code-sportive for the Historic American Cup shall shortly be available on our website.

Tires
Dunlop racing tires are mandatory for all cars participating in the Historic American Cup. Dunlop will have tires and their usual service available for you in the Paddock. If you have special requests or would like to be sure that tires are available for your car, please contact Tachyon Motorsport by email or phone so we can check on your behalf if the right (sized) tires are available.

Tickets & Historic American Cup hospitality
3 Paddock tickets are available per entered/registered car. These tickets include entry to the Historic American Cup hospitality unit on Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday lunch and a dinner buffet shall be available to participants. During the evening program we shall have our prize giving ceremony.
Sunday breakfast shall be served a s well as a lunch.

Additional Tickets
Additional Paddock tickets for the weekend are available for
Euro 80,- per ticket. These tickets can be ordered by sending an email to info@tachyon.nu  Please order them as soon as possible as limited amount is available. Tickets can be collected at the Welcome Center of the TT circuit of Assen.

Gift
All entrants shall receive a Historic American Cup gift from the organization.

Did we forget someone?
If you believe we have forgotten to invite owners of American GT’s pre-1966 please invite them to our Historic American Cup races.
